I am Trish, I run Wax Away from Burwell, and I am the person responsible for anything you send me. This page covers the website: the enquiry form and nothing else.
If you fill in the enquiry form
You give me your name, your email address, the village or town you are in, and optionally a phone number and a message. The form also asks who the visit is for and whether the ear has ever been perforated, because both change how I approach it.
That goes straight to my inbox as an email. It is not stored on the website, not written to a database, and not logged anywhere. There is no copy of it on this site for anyone to find, because there is nowhere on this site that keeps one.
I read it, I reply to it, and I keep the email for as long as I need it to arrange your visit or answer your question. If you would rather I deleted it, ask and I will.
Who else sees it
The website runs on Cloudflare, who pass the message from the form to my email provider. They do not keep the contents. The form uses Cloudflare Turnstile to keep out automated spam; it checks the browser, not you.
Nothing is sold, shared, or used to advertise to you. There is no tracking on this site, no advertising cookies, and no analytics that identify you.
If you book an appointment
Booking runs through Cliniko, which is separate from this website and has its own privacy notice shown when you book. Anything I record about an actual visit is handled by me directly — ask me about it and I will tell you plainly what I hold and why.
Your rights
You can ask me what I hold about you, ask me to correct it, or ask me to delete it. Email me at trish@waxaway.co or ring 07876 296690. If you are not happy with how I have handled it you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
